POLICY GUIDELINES
RULES AND REGULATIONS
Yard Safety
-Yard speed limit is 5 mph do NOT exceed the limit of 10 mph.
-Wear high visibility vest AT ALL TIMES when on foot and in-yard.
-Drivers must COMPLETELY disconnect tractors from their trailers at least 6ft away from their trailer or up to the ‘red line’ and turn off their engines before proceeding to turn in their BOL’s.
-Our yard policy dictates the safety bubble around a still truck and trailer :

-10ft driver side
-20ft front side
-25ft passenger side
-30ft back side
-All associates are knowledgeable of universal driving signal.
NO SMOKING OR DRINKING IN THE YARD
-Smoking and drinking any kind of alcohol is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and would result in yard banishment.
CO-DRIVERS & PASSENGERS
-The policies, rules and regulations are extended to the drivers as well as passengers and co-drivers.
-No one person is exempt from these guidelines and regulations.
CONDUCT AND BEHAVIORS
-Please be respectful and courteous to all staff as they’re doing their best to reduce wait times and perform a level of high standard for you and other drivers. Any arguments or fighting of any kind to anyone will result in yard banishment.
BILL OF LADING (BOL)
-The paperwork we require are Bill of Ladings |only|. This paperwork
contains the companies/carriers information along with the items with the correct purchase order numbers
(P.O.’s/FBA’S/(B/L)) that has the information we need to process the shipment.
-We do NOT accept shipment information or any other forms of paperwork.
FULL UNLOAD or PARTIAL
Please notify the clerks if your trailer is a full unload or a partial. If it is a partial please let
the dock clerks know. If you don’t remember, please request the answer from your dispatcher before you turn in your BOL.
Perhaps it may be a separation between straps or how many pallets is for our building.
BOX TRUCKS
While waiting please understand the following:
-You have the keys to any external locks you may have. You will be escorted outside resulting in longer dock times.
-If you have a tailgate, ensure that it is completely lifted before reversing to your dock door.
-Our building policy is stated that if our dock plate does not reach at least 4 inches into your truck, all drivers must unload their trailers themselves at dock door 4 or receive a refusal case for your entire freight.
-Only ONE person is allowed to unload. Any other passengers or co-drivers must stay outside in their appropriate truck.
-All pallet jacks must be non-electrical within the warehouse. If you don’t have any manual pallet jack, one will be assigned to you.
LIMITATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
(Any vendor fraud or incorrect shipment will result in rejection/refusal/redirect/misship.)
-We configure our loads to different categories.
Clampable:
-Must be plastic wrapped and without pallets.
Pallets:
-All pallet loads must be considered as “pallet loads” and must contain legal pallets of any kind
less than 6ft in height and less than 6ft length by 6ft width.
Floorload:
-Entire trailer must only contain unwrapped, unpalletiezed load.
-If any number of boxes exceed our standard weight class (50lbs or 22.20kg) the freight will result in rejection of the entire freight due to the fact that our conveyor lines cannot withstand the weight.
-Any trailer with boxes exceeding the size limitations (2ft wide by 3ft length by 2.5 ft height) will also be rejected.
